Dear friends, colleagues! The Kaliningrad region is a unique region of Russia that is territorially within the European Union and has no common borders with the main territory of Russia. There is a special economic zone regime in the Kaliningrad region for more than a quarter of a century. During this period, new branches of the economy and industry were formed in the region, which stimulated the creation of new enterprises and successful business models.
Today a new paradigm of business development is being formed in the Kaliningrad region. We are striving to create conditions for the appearance of export-oriented enterprises using modern production technologies, best practices in business management as well as environmental friendliness. In 2018, the special economic zone regime operating in the Kaliningrad region began to operate under new rules prescribed in laws approved by the President of the country Vladimir Putin. They create unprecedentedly effective and favorable conditions for the opening of new and development of existing projects in the production and supply services.
The Kaliningrad Region Development Corporation helps investors in the "one-stop" mode minimize costs and most effectively implement projects on the territory of the region. For ourselves, we identified five major areas for the development of business projects:

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law defining a new procedure for the operation of the Special Economic Zone regime

2018

The first joint conference of VEB Innovations LLC and the Kaliningrad Region Development Corporation was held
The Development Corporation has initiated the holding of the first in the region festival of fashion and young designers “Kaliningrad.Fashion”.
An exhibition of goods and services of Kaliningrad companies was held with the assistance of the Development Corporation in the Federation Council .
The Khrabrovo substation with a capacity of 39 MW was officially commissioned.
Contracts for construction and installation works on the creation of the engineering infrastructure of IP Khrabrovo and the "Industrialnaya" substation in IP Chernyakhovsk have been concluded.
